Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

The test substance did not produce skin sensitization in laboratory animals.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
OECD 406. Not sensitization in guinea pigs. Not classified as a skin sensitizer. Reliability = 1.

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

There was no evidence of respiratory sensitization during inhalation exposures.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
Not specifically tested for this endpoint. However, no adverse respiratory tissue effects were observed in acute or repeated inhalation studies. Not classsified as a respiratory sensitizer.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The test substance did not produce skin sensitization in laboratory animals, and there was no evidence of respiratory sensitization during inhalation exposures. The substance does not need to be classified for sensitization according the EU Directive 67/548/EEC and EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
