Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information
Environmental fate and pathways:
The registered substance is readily biodegradable and therefore is not persistent in the environment. In addition, with a log Kow value at 0.95, the registered substance has not a potential for bioaccumulation according to the Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 (CLP) criteria (log Kow < 4.0) and PBT criteria (log Kow < 4.5).
Aquatic toxicity:
Two experimental studies (based on international guidelines and GLP compliance) and one QSAR result(iSafeRat® Holistic HA-QSAR v1.8) are available to assess the aquatic toxicity of the registered substance, on aquatic invertebrates and algae.
The experimental short-term toxicity study on the aquatic invertebrate, Daphnia magna, was performed on the registered substance. In this study, the 48h-EC50 value, based on analytically confirmed nominal concentration (by TOC analysis), was determined at 6.8 mg/L.
On algae, the experimentalstudy was performed on the registered substance in order to evaluate its toxicity towards the freshwater green alga Desmodesmus subspicatus. In this study, the 72h-ErC50 and 72h-ErC10 values were determined at 194.03 and 7.20 mg/L, respectively, for growth rate, based on the geometric mean measured concentrations. This experimental ErC50 value was supported by a QSAR prediction usingiSafeRat® holistic HA-QSAR v1.8 model. The predicted 72h-ErC50 value was determined at 123 mg/L.
Conclusion on classification
No harmonised classification is available.
1 < lowest EC50 value < 10 mg/L; readily biodegradable; log Kow < 4.0.
Classification according to the Annex VI of the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP): The registered substance is not classified for the environment.
