Additional information

All in vitro assays were conducted under GLP and according to OECD guidelines and are therefore valid without restrictions. Based on the consistent negative results from the in vitro assays no in vivo genotoxicity testing of tripropylene glycol butyl ether highers is required.

Short description of key information:
GLP-studies according to OECD guidelines 471, 473 and 476 are available for tripropylene glycol butyl ether highers.

Endpoint Conclusion: No adverse effect observed (negative)

Justification for classification or non-classification

All in vitro mutagenicity studies with the test substance were negative, therefore tripropylene glycol butyl ether highers is not classified for genotoxicity.
