Experimental studies evaluating the toxicity of the substance to aquatic organisms are available for two different trophic levels (aquatic invertebrates and algae). The studies were performed according to international guidelines and GLP. Aquatic algae turned out to be the most sensitive species with an ErC50 (72 h) of 8.28 mg/L and an ErC10 (72 h) of 5.96 mg/L. Testing with Daphnia magna resulted in an EC50 (48 h) of 13.7 mg/L based on mobility. All effect concentrations were based on the geometric mean measured concentrations.
