Description of key information

Fathead minnows (Pimephales promelas) were exposed for 96 hours under static-renewal conditions to five mean measured concentrations of XP-7866 ranging from 11 to 153 μg a.i./L. The 96-hour LC50 value was >153 μg a.i./L, the highest concentration tested. The 96-hour no-mortality concentration and the NOEC were 153 μg a.i./L.

Additional information

Two short-term studies are currently available to study the acute toxicity of the test item. Due to low water solubility, maximales tested concentration were quite low (µg/L range). Howver, no toxicity were reported at the concentrations tested in both studies performed and reported in the dossier.
