Executive summary:

Acute toxicity to Daphnia magna has been investigated according to the methods outlined by EU Directive 79/831/EEC, Annex V, part C.

Daphnia magna were exposed for 48 hours to an aqueous solution of ethyldimethylamine at nominal concentrations of 6.25 - 12.5 - 25 - 50 - 100 and 200 mg/L.

EC 50 - 48h determined is of 39.23 mg/L and NOEC is of 12.5 mg/L.
