Description of key information

Two terrestrial tests are available for EDTA-ZnK2. One acute earthworm study according to OECD 207 and a plant study according OECD 208. The lowest EC50 of 444 mg a.i./kg dw was observed in the plant test for Brassica napus (rape). The NOEC for the same endpoint was 113 mg a.i./kg dw.

Additional information

Two terrestrial tests are available for EDTA-ZnK2. One acute earthworm study according to OECD 207 and a plant study according OECD 208.

The acute earthworm study with EDTA-ZnK2 (Winkelmann, 2019) resulted in an EC50 for weight of >1000 mg test item/kg dw. The active ingredient content of the test item was 90.4 %. The EC50 for weight based on active was thus >904 mg a.i./L

The terrestrial plant tests with EDTA-ZnK2 using three different plant species resulted in a lowest NOEC of 125 mg test item/kg dw for shoot wet weight of Brassica napus (rape). The lowest EC50 of 491 mg test item/kg dw was also observed shoot wet weight of Brassica napus (rape). The test item contained 90.4% active ingredient. The effect data based on active are then: NOEC of 113 mg a.i./kg dw was observed for shoot wet weight of Brassica napus (rape). The lowest EC50 of 444 mg a.i./kg dw also for Brassica napus (rape)
