Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a static acute toxicity test to fish, Zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio) were exposed for 96 hours according to OECD 203 (1992). The LC50 was determined to be greater than 100 mg/L but lower than 215 mg/L, the LOEC was determined to be 215 mg/L and the NOEC was determined to be 46.4 mg/L.

Additional information

In a static acute toxicity test to fish, Zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio) were exposed for 96 hours according to OECD 203 (1992). Based on the results of a range finding study (LC50 after 96 h: between 10 and 100 mg/L) the concentrations, spaced by a factor of about 2 .2, were fixed as follows: 0, 10, 21.5, 46.4, 100, 215, 464 mg/L. At the beginning of the study, the analytically determined concentrations ranged from 86.6 to 90.5 % of the nominal values. At the end of the study, the analytically determined concentrations ranged from 93.7 to 102.6 % of the nominal values and confirmed the theoretical concentrations. Based on the nominal concentrations the LC50 was determined to be greater than 100 mg/L but lower than 215 mg/L, the LOEC was determined to be 215 mg/L and the NOEC was determined to be 46.4 mg/L.
