Description of key information

Vapour pressure predicted from scientifically valid (Q)SAR models: 5.91 (Kovarich, 2014)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
5.91

Additional information

For the determination of the logKow of Tetradecylamine, one data is reported from (Q)SAR predictions based on three scientifically valid models: ACD/Percepta LogP Classic, ACD/Percepta LogP GALAS and EPISuite/WSKOWWIN (v.1.42). Those models fulfil the characterisation criteria specified in the OECD Guidance Document on the validation of (Q)SAR models.

A logKow of 5.91 is predicted for Tetradecylamine; this prediction is considered reliable with restrictions (Klimisch 2) and is used as key value for the assessment.
