Exposure: 28 days (daily)
AgNPs were applied daily to three groups of female mice (15 animals each) by intragastral, inhalation and subcutaneous (s.c.) administration of a dose of 0.1 mg/kg bw for 28 days. The control group received physiological solution (not further defined). After euthanasia on the 29th day of the experiment, lungs, liver, kidneys, spleen, inguinal lymph nodes, and blood serum were studied using histologic and immunologic methods.
The cytotoxicity of the Argovit preparation was studied in vitro on splenocyte cultures obtained from experimental animals using the MTT method. - GLP compliance:
