Additional information

One study investigating the hydrolysis of 1,2-Benzenediol, 3,5-dialkyl-, 1,2-dicarboxylate is available. The study was carried out according to OECD Guideline 111 and GLP (Dow, 2011). The test was conducted at pH values 4, 7 and 9, at 50 °C for a duration of 5 days. The initial substance concentration was 3.23 µg/L. Half-lives of > 1 year, 7.5 days and < 1 day were obtained at pH 4, 7 and 9, respectively. Hydrolysis is thus expected to be relatively slow under environmental conditions.
