Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A 48 hour EC50 value of 3 mg/l (nominal concentrations of tri(isopropyl)silyl acrylate) has been determined for the effects of the registered substance on mobility of Daphnia magna. When expressed in terms of mean measured concentrations of tris(1-methylethyl)silanol the corresponding value is 1.4 mg/l.

Concentrations of tri(isopropyl)silyl acrylate calculated from measured concentrations of tris(1-methylethyl)silanol were below nominal values. Tris(1-methylethyl)silanol has a Henry’s Law constant of 11.6 Pa m3/mol at 25°C and the discrepancy between the calculated and nominal concentrations may be explained by volatile losses arising during medium preparation and exposure.
