Triallylcyanurate induced 5-ALA-synthetase activites by a factor of 2. 

No significant increase in liver weight, microsomal protein, Cytochromes P-450 

and b5, NADPH-cytochrome c-reductase and anilin hydroxylase. Mitochondria of tAC-treated animals showed a green colouration resulting 

from haem breakdown.
