First-aid measures

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist.
Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Ingestion: Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues. Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that stomach vomit doesn't enter the lungs. Do not give anything by mouth in case of unconsciousness.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide.
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
Unusual fire & explosion hazards: The product is combustible, and heating may generate vapours which may form explosive vapour/air mixtures.
Specific hazards: Thermal decomposition may produce smoke, oxides of carbon and lower molecular weight organic compounds whose composition have not been characterised.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.
Fire fighting equipment/instructions: Move containers from fire area if you can do it without risk. Use water spray to cool unopened containers. Cool containers with flooding quantities of water until well after fire is out.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Remove sources of ignition. In case of spills, beware of slippery floors and surfaces.
Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Dispose properly to avoid spontaneous combustion.

Handling and storage

Handling: Use work methods which minimise production of vapours and mists. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged skin contact. Observe good industrial hygiene practices.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place with adequate ventilation. Keep away from incompatible materials, open flames and high temperatures.
