Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
judgement: low bioconcentration
Executive summary:

The bioconcentration of 2-chloro-4-nitrotoluene to fish (cyprinus carpio) was conducted in a flow-through test according to OECD Guideline 305C (Bioaccumulation: Test for the degree of bioconcentration in Fish). After 6 weeks of exposure a BCF value in a range of 27- 40 was obtained (MITI, 1995).
