First-aid measures

Inhalation:

Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention.

Ingestion:

In case of accidental ingestion the mouth should be rinsed with water and give large quantities of water if available. Never give anything by mounth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention.

Skin contact:

Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If irtritation persists or develops get medical attention.  Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse.

Eye contact:

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids occasionally. Remove contact lenses. Get medical aid.

Fire-fighting measures

Explosion:       

Not considered to be an explosion hazard.

Fire:

Not considered to be a fire hazard.

In the event of a fire, wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus with full facepiece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.

Fire extinguishing media:

In case of fire in the surroundings use appropriate extinguishing media (dry chemical powder, foam, snow, water, carbon dioxide).

Accidental release measures

Do not inhale, avoid contact with eyes. Ventilate area and keep unnecessary and unprotected people away from. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

The product collected on a dry, mechanically. Sweep up and place in a suitable container for reclamation or disposal, using a method that does not generate dust.       

Handling and storage

Handling:       

Prevent dispersion of dust. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid eye and skin contact. Wear full protective clothing.

Storage:

The product should be stored in steel or concrete tanks (silos) or on the open spaces in places designated to protection against dusting.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Engineering Controls:

When using product, provide local and general exhaust ventilation. Use wet methods, if appropriate, to reduce the generation of dust.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Eye protection: Wear approved eye protection (properly fitted dust- or splash-proof chemical safety goggles).

Skin and Body Protection: Wear suitable protective clothing, as may appropriate.

Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable, properly fitted respiratory equipment.

General Hygiene Considerations: Handle according to established industrial hygiene and safety practices.

Stability and reactivity

Stability: Stable under normal storage conditions.

Disposal considerations

Dispose of in a landfill pond. Observe local and state regulations.
