In a study according to OECD Test Guideline 209, the EC50 to activated sludge of a mixture of the registered substance and a close homologue with a C8 instead of a C10 chain was determined to be 212.3 mg/l.
A reliable study according to OECD test guideline 209 with activated
sludge of a predominantly domestic sewage assessing the toxicity of a
mixture of the registered substance and a close homologue with a C8
instead of a C10 chain to microorganisms is available. The study was
conducted and documented equivalent to GLP. The test substance was
applied directly (no vehicle was used) for 3h in a static freshwater
system. Analytics were not performed. All validity criteria were met.
The EC50 to activated sludge of the test substance was determined to be
212.3 mg/l based on the respiration rate.
Results are read-across to the registered substance.
