non explosive

Additional information

The substance does not contain chemical groups associated with explosive properties and, according to Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, experimental investigation of this property is not required. An expert statement states that it can be concluded beyond reasonable doubt that the test material is incapable of causing explosions via action of external heating sources.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Substances shall not be classified as explosive when there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properites present in the molecule. Based on the chemical structure of Patchouli the substance does not warrant a classification.
