First-aid measures

• After inhalation: Not required, but get fresh air for personal comfort.

• After skin contact: Not required, but wash exposed skin with soap and water for hygienic reasons.

• After eye contact: Not required, but rinse opened eye under running water for personal comfort to avoid mechanical irritation.

• After swallowing: Not required, but if large amount been ingested get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: All types of extinguishing media are suitable. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

Unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water with full jet.

Accidental release measures

• Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Ensure good ventilation. If dusty conditions wear respiratory protective device with dust filter, gloves and protective clothing for hygienic reasons.

Do not allow to enter sewers/surface or ground water.

Cover to prevent dust formation.

Control parameters: National Occupational Exposure Limits for organic dust.

Exposure controls:

Keep dust levels below National Occupational Exposure Limits through local exhaust ventilation. Use respiratory device with dust filter (P2) in case of insufficient ventilation.

Stability and reactivity

The substance is stable under normal pressure and temperature.

No dangerous decomposition products known.

No hazardous reactions known under intended use.

Disposal considerations

Waste of pure substance is not classified as hazardous waste.
