Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Henry's Law constant was determined by the bubble column technique and GC/FID analysis, by measurement of optical absorbance, and by an equilibrium gas stripping method. The experimentally derived Henry's Law constants were in the range between 0.92 and 1.08 Pa m³/mol at 25°C. Based on the results of Betterton 1991, the Henry's Law constant at 20°C was calculated to be 0.766 Pa m³/mol. The results indicate that acetophenone can be regarded as moderately volatile from aqueous solution.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
0.766
at the temperature of:
20 °C
