Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH (Regulation 1907/2006/EC) Annex VIII, a test for hydrolysis as a function of pH does not need to be conducted as Coco fatty acids 2-sulfoethyl ester, sodium salt is readily biodegradable.

In accordance with column 2 of REACH (Regulation 1907/2006/EC) Annex VIII, a test for hydrolysis as a function of pH does not need to be conducted as Coco fatty acids 2-sulfoethyl ester, sodium salt is readily biodegradable.

According to Hydrowin module (v2.0) in EPIsuite, the ester bond in Coco fatty acids 2-sulfoethyl ester, sodium salt is susceptible to hydrolysis. Hydrowin predicts: Total Kb for pH > 8 at 25 deg C : 2.848E-002 L/mol-sec
