Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: GLP Guideline Study (EU Method A.15)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.15 (Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases))
Deviations:
no
Principles of method if other than guideline:
not applicable
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Auto-ignition temperature:
> 400 °C
Atm. press.:
101.41 kPa
Remarks on result:
other: Room temperature: 21.6°C

The test item has been determined not to have an auto-ignition temperature below 400°C.

Conclusions:
The test item has been determined not to have an auto-ignition temperature below 400°C.
Executive summary:

The test item was warmed in a water bath at approximately 40°C and homogenised prior to testing. The auto-ignition temperature was determined by heating aliquots of the test item in a flask and observing for any ignition. Testing was conducted using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A15 Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. The test item has been determined not to have an auto-ignition temperature below 400°C.
