Type of study / information:
Type: other
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Whole-body exposure to o-dichlorobenzene vapours for 4 hours. Tubular toxicity and centrilobular liver demage were evaluated histochemically from the enumeration of damaged proximal tubules in cryostat kidney sections stained for alkaline phosphatase and the measurement of centrilobular glucose-6-phosphatase.

a The exposure concentrations are the average of the three samples taken during each 15 min exposur period, with a coefficient of varaition of < 10%.

b The values given are the mean respiratory rate   ± SEM obtained from six mice.

* Signifcantly different from pre-exposure level: p < 0.05
