The available test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation 1272/2008 (CLP). The test item has a poor water solubility (<1 mg/L). No toxic effects were determined in acute and chronic aquatic toxicity tests up to the limit of the water solubility of the test item. No classification is required for Acute aquatic toxicity, as no effects were observed up to the limit of water solubility. Based on the low water solubility, the relatively high log Pow and the result of the biodegradation study, Fadex HE 1819 PK is therefore classified into aquatic chronic category 4 (H413: May cause long lasting harmful effects to aquatic life) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) as amended for the eighteenth time in Regulation (EC) 2022/692.
