Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex XI, paragraph 1.5., substances whose physicochemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological properties are likely to be similar or follow a regular pattern as a result of structural similarity may be considered as a group, or "category" of substances. Environmental effects or environmental fate may be predicted from data for reference substance(s) within the group by interpolation to other substances in the group (read-across approach). For the detailed read across justification please refer to the endpoint.

To assess the toxic potential of the test item a chronic toxicity study towards Eisenia fetida according to OECD guideline 222 was conducted with a structural analogue (EC 274-570-6). The earthworms were exposed to the test item at 62.5, 125, 250, 500 and 1000 mg test item/kg soil dw for 56 d. No toxic effects on mortality, biomass and reproduction could be observed. The NOEC was determined to be >= 1000 mg/kg soil dw and the LOEC was determined to be > 1000 mg/kg soil dw.
