Additional information

A screening test for ready biodegradability in water showed that DYNS 2246 is not readily biodegradable in water. However, the test item showed an inherent biodegradation between 12.4% and 27.3% (mean 17.5%) in a Modified MITI Test (II) and may be inherently biodegradable. Furthermore, analysis of the test item at the end of the 28 days study period showed that the test item may be subject to abiotic degradation (92% in 28 days). Only 8% of the initial concentration was found in the analysis at the end of the study period. Consequently, the test item is considered not to be persistent.
