Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No boiling was observed up to 400 °C and slow decomposition starting as of 50 °C was observed, presumably due to condensation reactions.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
400 °C

Additional information

TOFA_TETA_PAA_BADGE_CGE_Adduct was investigated for its boiling point in an experiment according to OECD guideline 103 applying DSC measurement in the range of -60 °C to +400 °C and no relevant peak was observed. Thus it is concluded that the substance does not boil up to 400 °C. Starting at 50 °C a slight drifting exothermy was observed, presumably due to condensation, up to 400 °C and following the test a red-brown residue was left, indicative of crucible evaporative loss.
