Additional information

The toxicity of sodium 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetate (CAS No. 2702-72-9) to algae was investigated in a study by Raszka (1996). This test was performed according to OECD Guideline No. 201, Algae, Growth Inhibition test (1984). After 72 hours of exposure to the test item, no significant inhibitory effects on growth of Scenedesmus quadricauda were observed and an IC50 above 1000 mg test substance/L (corresponding to 920 mg a.i./L) was determined.
