Ethyl centralite is considered hydrolytically stable (t0.5, 25°C > 1 year) based on results of study "Hydrolysis as a function of pH". The resistance of Ethyl centralite to hydrolysis has been attributed to the bulkiness of the ethyl and phenyl substituents.
