Type of water:
freshwater

Additional information

In an enhanced ready biodegradability test according to OECD 301B with a prolonged exposure period of 60 days, the substance was degraded to 60-70% CO2/ThCO2 after 60 days (BASF SE, 2012, report no. 22G0074/12G097). Municipal activated sludge was used as inoculum. The substance is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria, but is biodegradable as it passed the test level of 60% CO2/ThCO2 and failed the 10-day window. In accordance with REACH Guidance Documents R.11 (ECHA, 2017; Figure R.11-3 and Table R.11-4), the substance is not P/vP.
