For the four samples dosed with FC-3283 in which no daphnia was added and stored refrigerated, the measured FC-3283 concentrations ranged from 0.570 ng/mL to 20.8 ng/mL, with an average concentration of 5.96 ng/mL, the RSD was 170% (Table 1).

For the one sample (E11-0832-007) that was dosed with FC-3283 in which no daphnia was added and underwent ecotoxicity test condition, duplicate measured concentration of 1.65 ng/mL and 1.77 ng/mL were reported.

FC-3283 has measured water solubility range of 0.0695 -1.96 ng/mL, whereas the measured FC-3283 in bioactive medium is approximately 10 fold higher. For difficult substance such as this, a wide range of test results is considered acceptable.

Executive summary:

Analytical testing of FC-3283 concentration in bioactive medium water for Daphnia ecotoxicity study was performed using purge and trap gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).

Four samples were dosed with FC-3283, in which no daphnia was added and the sample was stored refrigerated.
