Description of key information

In a growth inhibition test on alga (Selenastrum capricornutum) a 72 -hour EC50 of 0.5 mg/l and a 72 -hour NOEC of 0.066 mg/l were determined for 2-mercaptobenzothiazole. (MITI, 1999)
