First-aid measures

General information:

If someone exposed to the product feels unwell, contact a doctor and show  the safety data sheet.

Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately

After inhalation:

In case of accident or if you unwell, seek medical advice immediately.

After contact with skin:

In case of contact with skin wash off with plenty of water. Consult a doctor

After contact with eyes:

In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with running water (app. 15 min) and seek medical advice

After ingestion:

When swallowed seek medical aid immediately (treat symptomatically)

Remove persons to safety

Wear suitable personal protective equipment

Use respiratory protection if exposed to vapours

Environmental precautions:

Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil

Dispose of contents / container according to local regulations

Take up with suitable equipment and if necessary collect in closed containers

Place in suitable containers and send for recovery or disposal

Dispose of absorbed material in accordance with the regulations

Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly, observing environmental regulations

Handling and storage

This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) and Article 18(4) for on-site isolated intermediates and transported isolated intermediates respectively. Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at the site.
