No compound-related effects were observed at gross pathology examination
of the high-dose group of animals. The compound (m-diisopropylbenzene)
was considered to be slightly toxic following oral administration.
At most, m-diisopropylbenzene is only slightly toxic by the dermal
route. There was no evidence of percutaneous absorption.
on a weight-of-the-evidence assessment, m-diisopropylbenzene is not
classified for acute toxicity according to EU Classification, Labelling
and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No.
1272/2008 and UN Globally Harmonized System of Classification and
Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
