Additional information

The test substance is a monomer that is further bound in a polymer. Under environmental conditions, the test substance, unreacted monomer, is a gas. If released into the environment, the test substance partitions almost exclusively into the atmosphere due to it high vapour pressure (1.71E6 Pa) and conservative Henry's Law constant (8371.7 Pa-m3/mol) calculated from the solubility value of 9400 mg/L measured at 80°C and 3.4 mPa. Moreover, its low log Kow (0.90) and Koc (21.7 L/kg) indicate that the test substance will not bind or partition to soil or sediments.
