Description of key information

The substance is concluded not to be readily biodegradable.

Additional information

The substance is concluded not to be readily biodegradable; results of a CO2 evolution test show 2% biodegradation after 28 days. An inherent biodegradation test (Modified MITI) also showed no significant biodegradation of the substance.

Although only limited biodegradation was observed, further simulation testing was not undertaken as it is considered not to change the current conclusion on biodegradation.

Although the (environmental) conditions and population of micro-organisms in soil are different, no significant biodegradation in this compartment is expected either.
