First-aid measures

Inhalation:  Remove patient from exposure, keep warm and at rest.

Obtain medical attention if ill effects occur.

Skin contact:  IF ON SKIN: Wash with soap and water

If skin irritation or a rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention

Wash contaminated clothing before reuse

Eye contact:  Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding the eyelids apart, for at least 15 minutes.

Obtain medical attention as a precaution.

Ingestion:  Wash out mouth with water and give 200-300 ml (half a pint) of water to drink.  Do not induce vomiting.

Obtain medical attention.

Self-protection of the first aider:  Protect yourself and any casualty from further exposure.

It is important that anyone attempting the rescue of an affected person should wear appropriate respiratory protection and protective clothing.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:  water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:  If involved in a fire, it may burn and emit noxious and toxic fumes

Advice for fire-fighters:  A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing should be worn in fire conditions.
