Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Effects and symptoms:
Ingestion: May be irritating to mouth, throat and gastrointestinal tract and may result in abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhoea.
Inhalation: Prolonged or repeated inhalation may be irritating to respiratory tract, may cause sensitization, asthmatic symptoms, lung oedema, nausea and vomiting. Exposure to high concentrations may result in molecular weakness.
Skin contact: Causes burns and maycause allergic reaction(s). The substance can be absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts.
Eye contact: Severely irritating and may cause damage.
First aid measures:
Ingestion: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting. Make victim drink plenty of water or milk. Immediately get medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing: artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult: oxygen. Immediately get medical attention. Vapours may cause aggravation of existing pulmonary diseases.
Skin contact: Wash off with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Consult a doctor if pain persists. Skin contact may cause aggravation of existing dermatitis.
Eye contact: Immediately wash out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide open for at least 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses. Immediately get medical attention, preferably an eye specialist.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable: Water spray, alcohol resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical.
Special fire-fighting procedures: Waterspray as solid streams may cause spattering of the burning liquid.
Hazardous thermal (de)composition products: Fire produces: toxic and corrosive fumes (NOx gas).
Protection of fire-fighters: Waterproof protective clothing, self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Do not attempt any clean up of spills without proper protective clothing and recommended respiratory equipment.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewerage system or open waters.
Methods for cleaning up: Extinguish or remove all ignition sources. Collect spilled material in sealable metal or polyethylene containers. Wash away remainder with plenty of water and collect in containers.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Use good housekeeping practices. Handle and open container with care.
Storage : Keep container tightly closed in a dry, cool, well ventilated place. Keep away from acids, oxidizing substances and chlorinated organic compounds.
Packaging materials:
Suitable: Steel drum (surface coating: Zinc-phosphoric acid) or polyethylene containers.
Other information: Since emptied containers retain product residues, follow all MSDS and label warnings after container is emptied.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering measures: Local exhaust required. Explosion protected electrical equipment.
Occupational exposure limits: No occupational exposure limits are known on the product nor on any of its ingredients.
Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory system: Approved respiratory protection.
Skin and body: Waterproof apron over long sleeve shirt and long trousers. Waterproof boots.
Hands: Chemical resistant gloves.
Eyes: Safety goggles or face shield.
Other protective equipment: Emergency shower and eye wash facility.
Stability and reactivity
Disposal considerations
Methods of disposal: To be disposed of as hazardous waste. Incineration is the preferred method of waste disposal.
Other information : Do not allow to enter sewerage system or open waters. Disposal according to the federal, national or local regulations.
