A surface tension of 45.1 mN/m at the saturation concentration (given as of 1.0 g/l) is reported in a reliable study, conducted according to an appropriate EU test protocol and in compliance with GLP; this is the most reliable result and is assigned as key study.
A water solubility of 1.0 g/l was determined in this study, different than the 0.85g/L obtained in the key water solubility study. It is assumed that hydrolysis effects, which have been observed in the surface tension study, are responsible for the deviation.
