First-aid measures

Inhalation: Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Rinse nose and mouth with water. Provide rest, warmth and fresh air. Get medical attention if any discomfortcontinues.

Ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly. DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately. NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINKFLUIDS!

Skin contact: Remove affected person from source of contamination. Remove contaminated clothing. Wash the skin immediately with soap and water. Get medicalattention if irritation persists after washing.

Eye contact: Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes with plentyof water while lifting the eye lids. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to rinse.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Small fires: Water spray, fog or mist. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemicals. Larger fires: Foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.

Hazardous combustion products: Thermal decomposition or combustion may liberate carbon oxides and other toxic gases or vapours.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Containers close to fire should be removed or cooled with water. Keep up-wind to avoid fumes.

Protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear full protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective clothing as described in the personal protection below. Keep upwind. Do not smoke, use open fire or other sources of ignition.

Environmental precautions: Avoid discharge into drains. Do not allow ANY environmental contamination.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Stop leak if possible without risk. Dam and absorb spillage with sand, sawdust or other absorbent. Smaller quantities of residue may be collected by an absorbent.

Waste treatment methods: Dispose of waste and residues in accordance with local authority requirements.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Mechanical ventilation or local exhaust ventilation is required. Eye wash facilities and emergency shower must be available when handling this product. Wear protective clothing. Avoid inhalation of vapours/spray and contact with skin and eyes. Eliminate all sources of ignition. Avoid contact with strong oxidisers. Avoid contamination. Good personal hygiene is necessary. Wash hands and contaminated areas with water and soap before leaving the work site. Isolate contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store locked up. Store in tightly closed original container in a dry, cool(2-8℃) and well-ventilated place. Protect from light, including direct sunrays.

Specific end use(s): Epoxy resin hardener
