One DSC measurement with a heating rate of 10 K/min in an aluminium crucible with a hole showed an exothermal effect starting at 40 °C. This effect was not seen in a measurement in a closed glass crucible.

The DSC measurement in an open glass crucible showed an exothermal effect starting at approx. 320 °C After the measurement the test item was visually unchanges, however a mass increase of approx. 3 % was observed.

Final result:

The test item had a no melting or boiling point at atmospheric conditions in a measured teperature range between 25°C and 500 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test item had a no melting or boiling point at atmospheric conditions.
