Description of key information

One acute toxicity study was performed to assess the acute toxicity of DAA to the freshwater fish species Oryzias latipes (Mitsubishi Chemical Safety Institute Ltd., 1997). The study was conducted under GLP and according to OECD Test Guideline 203. A limit test was performed at 100 mg/L. pH varied between 7.4 and 7.7, dissolved oxygen concentration was between 6.8 and 8.3 mg/L and the temperature was 24 ±1 °C. After 96 hr exposure at the 100 mg/L group, no death was observed. Therefore the 96-hr LC50 was determined to be greater than 100 mg/L. The other studies support this result.
