Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A water solubility of <0.8 mg/L at 20°C was determined in a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 105 and EU Method A.6 taking into account the smallest calibration point of the HPLC system and the fact that the test item was not detectable in any of the aqueous sample solutions.

Due to the low water solubility of the test item, the ecotoxicity tests (cf. Ch. 6.1) had been performed with saturated solutions obtained from supersaturated dispersions in the test media with a loading rate of 100 mg/L. Analytical determination of the test substance concentration resulted in values of 1.3 µg/L (test on fish), 25 µg/L (daphnia), and 2.2 µg/L (algae). Although these results were obtained in mineral media instead of pure water, they probably reflect a more realistic value for the water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
