Additional information

The substance is insoluble in water at 30 °C and the solubility is less than 0.01 mg/L. According to Column 2, the study on aquatic toxicity does not need to be conducted if the substance is highly insoluble. This substance is used as a monomer of polymer and polymerization takes place outside the EU. So the substance itself won't be exposed to the enviroment. According to Annex XI, the data waiving can be used based on the exposure consideration.

Conclusion on classification

The substance has similar constituents and properties with Epoxidized Soybean Oil (ESBO).

The ESBO is not classified in the C&L inventory, so the substance can be also considered as not classified under CLP regulation.
