TGA data show there were three main thermal events resulting in weight loss associated with sample decomposition. Derivative peaks at 209 0C, 250 0C and 529 0C accounted for a weight loss of 91.5%. The overall onset of sample weight loss occurred at approx. 198 C.

Analysis by TGA indicates the test substance decomposes before boiling. The test material’s weight loss associated with decomposition occurred at temperatures of 209, 250 and 529 C. The onset of decomposition occurred at 198 C.
Executive summary:

A thermogravimetric analysis performed according to the ASTM E2550 -07 guideline indicates the test substance decomposes before boiling.

The test material was heated under nitrogen up to 700 oC. Examination of the TGA curve showed test material weight loss associated with decomposition. The onset of weight loss occurred at approx. 198 oC. There were three main thermal events at derivative peak values of 209, 250 and 529 oC corresponding to weight loss values of approximately 58.8, 19.8 and 11.9 %, respectively. A residue remained at 700 oC equivalent to 9.5 % of the test material.
