Description of key information

No effects were observed on Sinapis alba, Brassica campestris or Trifolium repens when exposed to benzyl butyl phthalate at 5.7 µg/m3.

A single study, Gorsuch et. al (2008), is available for this endpoint. It is GLP-compliant. No guideline was available for the study type. The study is acceptable for use as a key study to fulfil the endpoint of acute toxicity to plants.

In the study no effects were observed on Sinapis alba, Brassica campestris or Trifolium repens when exposed to benzyl butyl phthalate concentrations in air of 5.7 µg/m3.
