Description of key information

One key study completed on the substance; klimisch 1, OECD 301B and per GLP..

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable but failing 10-day window

Additional information

The test material attained 75% degradation after 28 days and therefore can be considered to be inherently biodegradable under the strict terms and conditions of OECD Guideline No 301B. The extent of mineralisation suggests that the test substance is unlikely to persist or accumulate in the environment. However, the substance did fail the 10 -day window.
