Description of key information

The acute toxicity study of DEGDN to four species of fish was performed.
LC50(96h) - bluegill: 258 mg/L
LC50(96h) - fathead minnow: 491.4 mg/L
LC50 (96h) - channel catfish: 278.3 mg/L
LC50 (96h) - rainbow trout: 284.1 mg/L
All the fish species had similar sensitivities (mean 96-h LC50 = 273.5 mg/L), except for the fathead minnows, which were somewhat more tolerant with an LC50 of 491.4 mg/L.
