Here you can find a list of all chemicals under preparation for their potential inclusion in the Stockholm Convention and their status.

The list gives an overview of the progress of the proposals submitted by the Commission on behalf of the EU. The table covers the main steps of the process from the preparation of a draft proposal, to the adoption of the risk profile and risk management evaluation by the POP Review Committee (POPRC) and the listing of the substance in the Convention and the POPs Regulation.

The list also provides an overview of the progress of proposals submitted by other parties to the Stockholm Convention from the publication of the proposal by the Convention Secretariat to the adoption of the risk profile and risk management evaluation by the POPRC and the listing of the substance in the Convention and the POPs Regulation.

ECHA supports the Commission and the Member States in identifying new POPs and carries out consultations during the identification process for substances that have been proposed by the Commission.
