Additional information

Glycine, N-methyl-, N-coco acyl derivatives (CAS 68411-97-2) is characterized by low water solubility (< 0.5 mg/L, 20 °C, OECD 117). The log Koc is 3.38 at pH 4 and decreases to 2.07 at pH 7 and 2.02 at pH 9 (QSAR, ChemProp v6.5), indicating that the potential for adsorption to particles in soil and sediment is moderate at pH 7 and above. Hence, the substance is expected to be moderately mobile in water at environmentally relevant pH ranges. Moreover, the substance is not expected to persist in the environment due to ready biodegradability.
